SimplyCub

Accessibility

Built for every child and every grown-up.

Our commitment

SimplyCub is designed and tested to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Kid Mode must be usable by a pre-reader, and Parent Mode must be fully operable by keyboard and screen reader. Accessibility is a product requirement, not an add-on.

What’s built in

  • Full keyboard navigation with always-visible focus rings.
  • Captions for everything the cub says, with a screen-reader live region.
  • Reduced-motion and reduced-sensory modes that honor your device settings.
  • A dyslexia-friendly font, adjustable text size, and a high-contrast theme.
  • Large touch targets (44px+) and clear, labelled controls.
  • Strong color contrast throughout (cocoa-on-cream ≈ 13:1).
  • Voice is optional — every action also works by tap or type.

Neurodiverse-friendly by design

Per-child accessibility settings (in Parent Mode) include slower pacing, extra wait time before the cub responds, calmer visuals, and the dyslexia-friendly font — so the experience can be tuned to how your child learns best.
